I got stung by a bee this morning, in my mouth! I took a drink from my cup in the darkness of the morning, not realizing a bee had taken a header in it. I pulled it out of my palate immediately, but felt the pain settle in, as well. What’s interesting was that the cup held my supplements, including fresh aloe vera from the plant. So I continued to swish that around before swallowing. I could feel numbness spreading across my mouth, as it does when you go to the dentist. On the way to the gate I felt the stinger with my tongue, and pulled that out. Then, I kept my mouth open on my bike ride so the cool morning air could keep it cool. When I got to yoga, 25 minutes later, the pain was gone. That’s pretty good, hey? Think it was the aloe vera thát made it heal so quickly?
