DIY Moss Paint

Got some moss growing on your cement walls, your water canals? You can use it to paint with! I’d like to paint,my water tanks with green vines, perfect! Here’s one recipe:

Recipe of the Day – Moss Paint

Ingredients:

In a blender add:

3 clumps (a small handful) of clean moss
1 c. water or beer
1 c. natural yoghurt (milk , buttermilk, or condensed milk)

1/2 tsp. sugar

Gather moss from cement walls and walkways, not from trees. Wash the moss to remove as much soil from the roots as possible.Break  into smaller pieces and put in a blender.
Add the buttermilk/yogurt, the water and sugar. …
Use a paint brush to apply the moss-paint like any other paint.

Tip of the Day – Be prepard to get your hands dirty. Bring a bucket for the moss and gloves for your hands. You can the spray the dirt off the moss, gently, with a garden hose.
