Double Chocolate Breakfast

My gardener, Wilson made this stone entryway with plants lining the path down to the stairs from my front door! These stones are in front of the front porch. So simple, using the materials around, just part of his day. He had it done when I came back from teaching. It was something I mentioned, like ten months ago, as part of a dream, and he just did it, no kidding!

Recipe of the Day – Double Chocolate Overnight Oats
Ingredients:

1 1/2 c. oats

1 c. hot tea (your choice – cinnamon is good!)
1 c. chocolate almond milk
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 T. cacao powder
2 T. coconut syrup
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Cover the oats with hot tea, the applesauce, cacao, syrup and salt and let sit 30 minutes to overnight. Top with cacao nib, coconut, bananas, or your choice of fruit.

Tip of the Day –If you have your breakfast ready like this, you’ll feel full and happy and may not reach for the Danish!
