Roasted Bananas with Raw Caramel Sauce

You know when I came here, that I kept saying inside, “I just want to meditate and have people bring me food.” I am living my dream.

Recipe of the Day – Roasted Bananas with Caramel Sauce

Ingredients:

3 bananas

Caramel Sauce Ingredients:
½ cup coconut oil
1/3 c. almond butter
1/3 c. coconut syrup or honey
pinch vanilla powder
pinch salt

Directions:

Peel and slice bananas and prick with a fork. Slice in thin lengths and roast on a broiler tray for 10 – 12 minutes. Make a paste of the caramel sauce mixing by hand with a whisk and pour a third over each banana,  ensuring that they are evenly coated. Bake for 10-15 minutes until bananas are soft and sticky. Or you can warm in your dehydrator at 105 degrees for one hour or more, depending on how dry you want them. Or do it raw, without roasting!

Word of the Day – meditar – to meditate

Tip of the Day – Use the syrup with apples, or to  top your banana ice cream or brownies with!
