I forgot to tell you the story of how I found the Shaman for my son-in-law! I was walking around Vilca with my friend, trying to book the horses, the massage and nails for my daughter, and the Shaman ritual for her husband. So I went to the horse place, and the owner wasn’t there, but his mom was! Whom I’d met up by my house, and she is a dear soul, mourning for her husband after a year. She showed us her house, we left a note about what day to ride horses, and then on the spur of the moment, after she’d mentioned she’d lived here thirty or sixty years, can’t remember….I asked her who she thought was a good Shaman around here. She said how so many were charlatans, but that there was one here, one person, one person only, who was a very powerful Shaman – and that was Sylvia! My gal who owns the Vegetarian restaurant and the woman who did the Shaman healing for my other daughter and I ! So I went over there – she needs Lorena, who’s at the coast right now, to help interpret and set us up, but I messaged Lorena and she’ll be back in a day or 2 and set it up for us! That all felt so right! Yeay! To end up with the Shaman my instinct had gone with a year ago.
3 c. Sprouted Sunflower Seeds
4 c. fresh or frozen corn, thawed
1/2 c. Coconut Aminos, Bragg’s or Nama Shoyu
1/2 c. orange juice pulp or barley water
1/8 c. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 T. taco seasoning
2 T. chili powder
1 – 2 T. nutritional yeast
Blend all ingredients well , except the taco, chili and nutritional yeast, in food processor and spread on dehydrator sheets covered with parchment paper. Score into desired shapes and dehydrate at 104 degrees for 24 hours until nice and crispy. Flip them halfway through and sprinkle them with a mix of the seasonings. I use a little shaker and use a lot of shake.
Word of the Day – curandero – spiritual healer
Tip of the Day – Ask around before setting up a Shaman Ceremony. There are so many charlatans now-a-days. Ask around and then go with your instinct. You want to be safe, but most of all, start your healing!
