“Buenas Dias,” I shouted to the workers, on Tiko and I evening walk. “…Ooops, “Buenas Tardes,” ….Wait, “Buenas Noches? What time is it?” These guys have been cleaning and fixing the empty house down the road, and asked me if I knew the new people moving in. I said, “Nope, I don’t even know what time of day it is!” They laughed. But very cool, I’ll have new neighbors!
1 c. rice
1/2 c. sesame seeds, soaked at least 40 minutes
4 c. water
1/4 c. cacao powder
1/8 c. carob powder
3 drops liquid chocolate stevia or other sweetener
1 T. coconut crystals
Directions: After soaking the sesame seeds, grind in the blender with the cooked brown rice. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. You can strain if you like, for a thinner milk. I like mine creamy and thick, so I don’t strain it at all! Chill it for the best taste!
